Job Description: Inventory Controller - Engine Storekeeper



Generate and issue plan maintenance job orders for all the machinery to the respective departments, complete with its job tasks as per the manufacturer recommendation to be adhered by the co-policies and procedures. Reporting the routine daily checklist, weekly checklist, monthly checklist, and semi – annual and annual jobs related to plan maintenance. Updating and reporting Running Hours of the engine room main and auxiliary machinery's on weekly and monthly basis. Schedule maintenance of new machinery's installed with approval of the chief engineer and co-ordination of the base office. Reporting unplanned maintenance on specific job tasks on the respective machinery upon problem shooting and rectification. Maintaining an up to date history of all the machinery's concerned. Physically sounding, checking and prepare the weekly voyage consumption reports on fuel, oil and gas cylinders. Transmit and receive all data's electronically on daily bases so that the shore office management is well informed with the activity undertaken on the vessel and also to mobilize the flow and purchase of materials related to maintenance. Restoring the weekend and weekly backups.

As part o the team provides maintenance, materials and logistic service to all departments and Head Office in outline and non- routine work activities. Act as the focal point for the supply chain management to keep the entire chain of maintenance & materials function smooth and efficiently. Train, develop, evaluate and supervise the storekeeper on his duties & responsibilities. Maintain a good communication with supervisors, subordinates and coworkers. The entire history recorded to plan / unplanned maintenance and stock inventory is controlled with "Amos" 5.2.10 version software package. Reported all assignments to the Chief Engineer.



Technical administration, planning, inventory, requisition, purchase of machineries spares, taking into account the period of supply, the maintenance and repairs anticipated

including purchase of General Stores

Take delivery for spares and stored items to the vessel and check if the items are satisfied that the quantities and specification of the delivered goods match the information on the order. Checking deliveries against purchase orders for correctness for engine, electrical, electronics, technical hotel, a/c reefer and deck department to ensure that they are in accordance with specifications.

Clearly identified non conforming items received and with correction action is to be determined by the office. Informed Purchasing Manager if defective items or incorrect quantities are delivered and if any are found to be poor quality.

Arranged items to be landed for repairs.

Provide status reports to the Purchasing Office regarding queries and upon receipt of goods.

Provide data on the consumption of spares and stores to assist with budgeting and planning and raised requisition needed for spare gear and stores of the ships.

Supervise safety storing of spares, proper storing of gases, chemicals in accordance with safety, maker’s instruction including guidelines regarding the use of personal protective equipment with Material Safety Data Sheet.

Assist the Chief Engineer with the monthly technical reports

Assist in issuing work order maintenance plan job in the AMOS Window System to 2nd Engineers, Electricians, AC Fitters, Engine and Deck Fitters.

Supervise Engine Storekeeper for adequate protection of all parts and tools in store rooms. Ensures that borrowed tools and instruments were properly returned in good condition.

Monitor the general condition of the spare gear storage areas, administer & keep all store rooms in correct and good order, and make sure that these rooms are in proper conditions and ready for both internal and external audits at all times and maintain record keeping system.

Maintain the spares and consumables in stock and good condition paying particular attention to the stocks held on a long term basis.

Monitors the accuracy of the record system and including spot checks of stock inventory.



Job Description: Materials Controller and Coordinator



Plans, schedules and coordinates material procurement activities to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.

Examines material delivered to production departments to verify conformance to specifications.

Coordinate and expedite the flow of equipment, materials, parts, and assemblies between sections or departments according to production and shipping schedules or department priorities.

Arranged transport materials/equipment from one department to another, manually or using material handling equipment to meet production schedules.

Compiles and maintain manual or computerized records such as material inventory, receipts, reports and status and location of materials.

Carries out technical evaluation of Materials Purchase Requisition iniated by Department and evaluates Vendors quotations in consultation with the end users and respective Division’s focal points.



Job Description: Engine Storekeeper



At all times keep Chief Engineer fully updated of spare parts and consumable status.

Control and order spare parts and consumables for Engine Department.

Follow up, receiving, delivery of spare parts and stores, inspection & storing.

Control and prepare of Landing Good Advice for custom clearance (Repair & Return)

Control, registration and updating data on regular basis in AMOS Stock control program.

Keep update of all information on spare parts transactions and purchasing routine in AMOS planned Maintenance System.

Maintain current files for Open and Closed Requisitions, Purchase Order, Packing List and Invoices. Over, Short and Damaged OSD, Return to stock.

Issued stores, spares as required.

Adequate protection of all parts and tools in store rooms.

Ensures that borrowed tools and instruments were properly returned in good condition.

Control of and keep storerooms and adjacent compartments clean and tidy, well organized and spare parts correctly labeled and safely stored.



Job Description: Plant Engineer



Lead plant supervision, planning, requisition, procurement, inventory control, warehousing, logistic, material shipping & freight forwarding and handle stock control for the fabrication of Byron Jackson pumps systems, Electrical controller, fire pumps, motors, right angle gear drive, automated machineries.

Manage preparation of procurement documents for Foreign and Local Purchase Order and other Contracts with Supplier.

Supervise Purchasing Division in achieving lower cost provision of all logistic, equipments & services & timely processing of orders to ensure delivery time, quality and budget target are met.

Vendor evaluation for quality, deliveries, cost, terms and lead time requirements.

Plan and schedule delivery of fabricated and imported pumps and accessories to end-user.

Expediting to ensure timely deliveries of products to Customers.

Coordination of the received material and issuance.

Confirming & monitoring OS & D reports for Overage, Shortage and Damage.

Manage & plan, develop the warehouse storage system to ensure maximum capacity is achieve.

Supervise laboratory testing of pumps to ensure that the capacity desired is obtained.

Job Description: Building Electrician



Electrical wiring and conduit lay-out and mounting electrical devices, fixtures and equipment, splicing, termination and connection of electrical wires base on plan.



Participate in electrical service work and assignments according to the instruction of the Project Engineer.



Ensure that the installation is run in a proper manner and in accordance to Philippine Electrical Code.
