Experience
1997-2000 Master - USS AGAWAM(YTB809) at Naval Station Roosevelt Roads, PR. 500+ ship assists and barge movements with a single-screw Navy Harbor Tug from patrol boats to aircraft carriers. Handpicked for marker bouy recover at the ULM4 Underwater Listening Range at St. Croix, USVI. The bouy had broken free of it's moorings requiring it and it's 5000' of line to be recovered and subsequently towed back to Puerto Rico.
2000-2003 Chief Harbor Pilot - USNB Guantanamo Bay. 125 safe and uneventful ship moves of all classes and types, US Navy, NATO, foreign and commercial. As craftmaster conducted over 500 small craft movements in support Detainee Operations.
2003-2006 Senior Navy Harbor Pilot - SUBASE New London, CT. Conducted 550 incident-free movements of submarines of all classes and various naval warships. Created a computer based, multimedia visual piloting presentation now used by Perspective Submarine Navigators and Perspective Commanding Officers attending the Command Course at Naval Submarine School. Key consultant in the creation of a Submarine Bridge Resource Management presntation at the request of Submarine Learning Center (SLC) New London.
