• Comprehensive experience, encompassing: maritime operations including conducting sea trials for Classification Societies; navigation and spatial orientation; operation of various equipment such as GMDSS, ARPA and EDCIS; coastal towing, tug and barge handling.



• Energetic with a high level of endurance; possessing good sea legs and the ability to view details at a distance, judge distance of objects even under the presence of glare or bright light, navigate under low light conditions, observe weather patterns, and control or adjust machinery and vessels to exact positions.



• Excellent communication skills, an integral attribute to developing and maintaining business relationships and interacting with a wide range of people from varying backgrounds.



• Well developed analytical abilities, quickly and accurately identifying issues whilst thinking outside the square to develop solutions; maintaining a “can-do” approach that maximises use of available resources.
