Objective
Relief Master or Mate during the holiday season in warm or non-freezing weather, and to return to my previous employer in the spring. Strong preference toward towing jobs.
Experience
LOTS! 19 yrs towing, (all phases) survey work, (mid-east)
some fishing, some cruise boats, and the rest is just plain work boats. A total of 30 yrs on the water. I started towing in '71, licensed since '80, on my 6th issue, (with no accidents ! :-)
Education
SCHOOL: UNIVERSITY OF HAWSEPIPE ;-)
Certification
1600 ton Ocean Masters License with MOT (master ocean towing)
endorsement. All the usual bells and whistles. like:
3000 ton ITC, Full STCW, Unlimited Radar, BRM,
some endorsements may have expired, like:
CPR, 1st aid, de-fib, hypothermia, and some ARE expired:
Tankerman and crane. unsure about SCUBA and welding.
Skils
The usual boat and barge handling (with no accidents)
I'm good with people and safety, and keeping fingers attached.
I'm real good with moral, and enjoy the teasing about double checking and not taking unnecessary chances.
