Objective
I would like to be Master or Mate. I am currently working on getting my license upgraded to 1600 tons masters Oceans. I also have experience in the engine room and hold a DDE 1000 Hp.
Experience
Currently I work on the research vessel Norseman Maritime Charters as Engineer. I have also been Mate for the last 2 years and relief Captain at times. I am responsible for all off season maintenance work on the Vessel have hired and fired crew. I have worked on and overseen projects with shipyards the last and biggest being an ABS conversation of the R/V Norseman II. I have also been involved in planning and installation of electronics, navigation systems, communication systems, and scientific hull mounted systems. I have also had experience on Fishing vessels from 32 foot Bristol Bay boats to 300 foot long factory trawlers.

Skils
I am mechanical and can work with others to come to a sensible solution to any problem. I have very good boat handling skills and feel comfortable handling big ships in crowded sea ways.
