Superb management, business and leadership skills. Good diesel engine skills with experience in Detroit, John Deere, Caterpillar, Cummins, Perkins, Onan, Westerbeke, etc., good marine a/c skills, etc. Nonsmoker/Nondrinker/No drugs (prescription or otherwise). Excellent seamanship, with a “conservative by-the-book” honest captaining style. Superb knowledge of CFRs(required logs, paperwork, crewing requirements, drills, etc.). Never subject to an insurance claim or an injury beyond simple first aid.
