Import/Export and logistic Corporate Manager of a billion dollar Retail Company, operating through different entry ports of Mexico. More than 5 years of experience Importing/Exporting perishable goods, equipment, groceries, toys, house-wares, and all kind of consumer goods related to the retail industry. Responsible to control the wellbeing of the supply chain of goods from the supplier’s facility to the company’s warehouse, including the coordination of different transport modes employed and customs clearance. Knowledge of applicable commerce laws, International Trade Agreements, and Security and Safety Regulations. Financial analysis and optimization of tax/customs duties paid, operational costs and delay costs incurred in the movement of goods. Management, recruitment and training of personnel, Internal/External customer service, and public relations enhancement with government authorities.
