• Total Sea faring experience of 14 years
• Supervising the overall functioning and smooth operation of the vessel when in port and sailing
• Currently freelancing as an expediter for loss control representing the charterers
• Deputed to handle dry-docking of vessels and preparing vessels for scraps and the conversion of storage tanker to sailing vessel, plus the subsequent deployment and operation of the sailing vessel
• Overall responsible for navigation in sailing and experience in manoeuvring vessel in dense traffic areas
• Managed operation of tankers engaged in worldwide trade of system and chartered cargoes. Experienced in operation of Suezmax, Aframax, Panamax and Coastal tankers carrying crude and products
• Analysing vessel performance in terms of commercial and operational metrics, identifying opportunities for improvement, value addition
• Implemented operational integrity frameworks comprising of risk assessment, mitigation plans and incident management
• Ensured compliance with safety, quality and environmental protection regulations and standards of IMO, Oil majors, OCIMF, Intertanko and Classification Societies
• Successfully completed various surveys, vetting and assurance inspections as a part of the SIRE programme
• Also successfully passed various CAS/Cap and other special surveys for preparing the vessel for dry dock and scraps
