1. Held the position of Master on board merchant navy vessels of various types. Joined Singapore pool in Wilhelmsen Ship Management during the world economic recession time of year 2009. Managed to operate ship with due care to keep company moving. I was the Master on board one of the two vessels operated during global recession. Today Singapore pool operates 20 ships.
2. Experienced as Master on board bulk carriers of various sizes, such as handy max with cranes & grabs carrying cargoes of Grain, Wood chips, Cement & fertilizer. Panamax & Cape size Bulk carriers carrying Iron Ore & Coal mainly traded in Australia, China, Brazil , Canada & India.
3. Have taken the responsibility for delivery of 3 new ships from ship yards in Japan & China. They consist of Supra Max size ship with cranes from Chinese ship yard in Shanghai & gearless Panamax & Cape Size ships from Japanese ship yard in Mizushima.
4. Gained experience working with different nationalities such as Indian, Filipino, Chinese,
Romanian, Ukranian & Sri Lankans on board. Interacted with many nationalities while calling different ports around the world including Australian ports.
5. Have called many major ports in Australia , exporting Iron Ore & Coal. Have experience in port formalities for arranging on board documentation required by Australian authorities in various regions.
