I graduated Maritime Academy in Gdynia (Poland) in 1997, and started to work as an Officer on sailing tall ship Dar Mlodziezy as an instructor ,3 and 2 officer. I took part in Tall Ships Races in 1997, 1999 and in 2000.
I have experience on RORO , Container , Bulk , Seismic Survey Vessel and FPSO.
Two years working for British Company EuroShip on a RORO ship in service between Belgium (Zeebruge) and England (Purfleet).
Previous experience as Chief Officer on Semi-Container and Bulk Carrier vessels up to Panamax.
In 2006 I started working on off-shore vessels as Chief Mate on Seismic Survey vessel and FPSO
In 2007 became Master on self-discharged bulk carriers for US Gypsum Company in service between US east coast to Canada.
During my time at sea I have conducted river piloting, mooring and unmooring operations at Fundy Bay Canada and Hudson River US.
Experienced with different type of engine rudders and bowtrusters.
Since 2010 I have been employed as captain in German Company H+H Schepers on handy max bulk carriers 57000 DWT, and capsize bulk carriers 170.000DWT, carrying various cargo’s e.g.: coal, grain, salt, gypsum, alumina, iron ore, bauxite and steel products as well very sensitive steel coils and pulp.
Experienced with long term time and voyage charters.
Experience working with P&I Clubs conducting surveys and audits.
Shipyard experience - supervising new build bulk carrier teams.
Working closely with surveyors from Lloyd Register
As a captain I participated in internal; external audits; flag state audits and yearly class audits.
Conducting safety meetings, monthly master review, quarterly and yearly reports as well as budget planning and financial and administration yearly analyses.
