• An accomplished Master Mariner with 3-plus years of demonstrated success and overall 16-plus years of total sailing experience on dry bulk cargo ships at various levels from junior nautical officer to senior management level officer. Proven track record as a take-charge leader who embraces challenging assignments and achieves objective with hard work and dedication.
• Have been involved in taking over new yard delivery vessels, Change of management , change of flag of vessel and on various occasion was responsible for special surveys, dry docking of vessels and much sought after by employers, Owners and Managers for such special tasks in position of Master and senior management level deck officer.
• Extensively carried out various successful classification society surveys, International Safety Management and International Ship Security and Port Facility audits and port state control inspections for vessels with nil deficiencies on board company vessels and was rewarded for same.
• Management entrusted with responsibility of development of safety management system and on board training module.
• Conducted safety & management trainings for ship staff as Training superintendant.

• Recently completed academic session and examinations of a full time Post Graduate, Masters Degree course in Maritime Economics and Logistics at Centre for Maritime Economics and Logistics, Jointly offered by School of economics and Rotterdam school of management , Erasmus University Rotterdam, The Netherlands, graduating in October; 2010, Course helped in enhancing skills with modern economic and management tools for efficient decision-making, understanding and analyzing in a multidisciplinary way the complexities of shipping, ports, terminal management, Logistics and global maritime supply chains. Presently in process of completing a research and thesis work as part of this course on Transport chain and berth allocation problem for vessels at Bulk terminals. Acquired in depth knowledge of Maritime Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Transport & Regional Economics, Shipping Economics & Policy, Port economics and policy, Maritime Law, Marine Technology, Shipping & Transport Finance, Economics & Int. Economics, Statistics & Econometrics, Research Methodology , Management Science. (2009 – 2010)
