• Arranging for conduct onboard audits of the Shipboard Safety, Quality & Environmental Management practices.
• Planning and coordinating Emergency Response training and drills
• Development of Safety and Security Management Plans for the vessels.
• Carrying out Pre-vetting inspections, Pre-CDI inspections, training on PSC/USCG inspections and onboard behavioural training.
• Coordinating compliance with environmental and regulatory issues
• Preparing Accident / Incident Reports, Near Miss Reports, Master's Management Review Reports and Safety Meeting Minutes.
• Have experience of container ship and cargo Gear.
• Taken over Chemical Tanker from ship yard and prepared vessels for dry dock as Chief officer
Education
Graduate in Science with Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics as main subjects.
Presently preparing for Professional qualifying examination (Institute of Chartered shipbrokers)
