Experience
Worked for Royal Caribbean cruises as Chief Officer/Safety Officer for last 6 years on 5 different ships from 60,000-80,000 GRT.
Responsibilities included all STCW training of 800 plus crew members, maintenance of ships conformity with SOLAS, STCW and Flag state requirements, manoeuvring of vessel and maintaining budget, routine maintenance and stores.

Master mariner at Manakau Institute of technology in Auckland, NZ
Emergency medical training at UCLA, CA
High school degree at El Camino Real, Canoga Park, CA
Certification
Master mariner unlimited foreign going
PADI open water INSTRUCTOR with additional specialties.
Medic first aid instructor.
EMT (emergency medical technician - ambulance driver)
All STCW required certs for Master mariner and additionally Fast rescue boat, Crowd mgmt, Crisis mgmt & human behaviour, Sperry integrated bridge systems, Bridge resource Mgmt

In addition to my 15 yrs sea going and manoeuvring experience from deckhand to Master I am fluent in English and Swedish, semi fluent in French, Spanish and Norwegian and speak a little Thai and Creole.
Extensive training with podded propulsion systems.
Canadian and UK citizen
Great guitar player.
