From the experience that I have gained since 1981, at sea & as I have the ability to work in a team, with a phlegmatic attitude, I believe that I can work efficiently through honest and diligent efforts, if given a chance to prove.
Experience
Since 1981 served at sea from junior rank to Master Mariner in various carriers like handy size Bulk carriers,Cape Size Bulk Carriers, Multi purpose, Container & DP vessel.
Master in command since 1998, worked with Mitsui O S K Lines, NYK Lines & Garware Offshore.
Education
Higher Secondary school from Mumbai India.
Possess Master Mariner Certificate from Government of India, passed in 1992.
Certification
Master Mariner from Govt. of India.
Related STCW certification.
Skils
· I got command in August 1998 with MOL. Worked in very difficult conditions while in West African ports. Gained good experience to solve difficult situations.
· I learnt to defuse difficult situations in a diplomatic way.
· I gained good communication skills and performed well with my work team.
· I have worked well under pressure and at times, with different Nationalities on various container vessels and various Ocean routes as a Master, responsible for various ships & port operations, world wide.
· Have the ability to handle emergencies in a calm & effective manner
· I am well conversant with Microsoft Office packages such as Word and Excel.
· I have sailed smoothly under difficult weather conditions.
· I have not learnt typing but can fairly do good & standard typing work.
· I have done essential Professional Training as per STCW’ 95
· I have undergone various in house management training like personnel management (HR), advance safety management system etc.
· Worked in a multi culture environment & did in-house training on intercultural relationships.
· Can speak and write English, Marathi, Hindi & Konkani languages
