Ship Management
• Ensure Operations keeping Profitability in focus and supervise day-to-day operation of all aspect of ship, which include Cleaning of Cargo Tanks as required by charter Party, Preparation of Cargo Plan and Monitoring the Execution of plan so as to avoid Stresses and maintain Safety.
• To calculate the Quantity of Cargo and Prepare the Mates Receipt which is used to prepare Bill of Lading, the main document in International Cargo Transport
• Carry, Keep Care and Maintain the Cargo in the same Specification as loaded so as to avoid Cargo Claims.
• Preparation & Monitoring of Ship Budget and responsible for Requisition, Quality Control and Inventory of Spare Part
• Carrying out internal Audit of the ship and prepare for External Audit carried out by Govt. Official For various transport Certificate, Charters External audit for employing the ship, Coast Guards and Port State Control Audit for complying with Safety
• Coordinating with Multinational crew in maintaining Company Quality and Safety Objectives
• Maintenance and Calibrating of various Ship Equipment
Charterer Relationship Management
• Ensuring high quality services, resulting in Charterer delight and optimum resource utilization for maximum service quality.
• Ensuring maximum customer satisfaction by closely interacting with potential Charterer & understand their requirements and customizing the product and services accordingly within legal frame work.
• Regular Communication with Charterer to prepare the ship and Cargo plan to accommodate the maximum quantity possible taking care of all the restriction that apply.
Risk Management
• Handling external risk involved due to dynamic nature of trade by efficient planning and evaluating the condition to mitigate risk.
• Handling internal risk involved in Cleaning dangerous oil and Chemical Cargo Compartment, transferring of Dangerous Cargo and hot and cold work in the compartment.
People Management/Training
• Imparting training to fellow crew members on health and Safety Hazard involved with the cargo to be handled for smooth flow of operations.
• Handling operational functions like pre-shifts staff briefings, creating the duty roster, shift management to avoid personnel fatigue
• Imparting appropriate training on use of Safety and Security Equipment, Carrying out regular mock drill to keep preparedness
• Organizing and conducting practical and theoretical training programs for various ships Equipment, enhancing their skills and motivational levels, for maximum utilization of resources.

A Chemical and Oil tanker of Cargo Capacity 10078 MT trading in US Gulf and Caribbean’s Island with Chemical and Petrochemical Cargo
Notable Accomplishment
• Ensuring Carriage of Dangerous Chemical Cargo safely and within the stringent parameter specified by the client
• Instrumental in Reducing at least 15% the time involved in Operation by making Computerized Cargo Calculation Programme and using the personnel and machinery in most optimum manner
• Successfully implemented new legislation regarding ISO 14001 & Ballast Water Management and ensuring Compliance of the same
• Played Key Role in achieving of United State Coast Guard Safety and Security approval by carrying extensive training of crew and also evaluating them to remove the weak link
