Objective
I have a strong commitment to being and training professional deck officers. I would like to research the application of digital systems in building situational awareness, especially human/machine interface. I see people as our greatest asset.
Experience
I am 48 years of age with 30 years experience in the maritime industry; I have already had a career in the maritime industry with a strong mix of operations and management. I have 12 years experience in commercial vessels, 10 years at sea and ashore in Australian Defence Force, 3 years exclusively in the allied area of marine survey and stevedoring and over 5 years experience in face-to-face and flexible delivery teaching in a wide range of teaching environments. I am now looking for a long-term career returning in a more operational role with variety.
