Nonoc Mining and Industrial Corporation is a nickel refinery situated in an island of Surigao, northern part of Mindanao, Philippines. The plant-site was occupying the whole island considering the largest nickel deposit in whole Asia.



Duties and Responsibilities



1983



Assigned in training development branch as electrical apprentice III to read and interpret drawing, electrical code specification in determining layout of electrical of electrical equipments.

Assigned in electrical-instrumentation department, trainee of all plant electrical facilities and equipments to test electrical components for continuity, current, voltage and resistance.

Assigned in refrigeration and air-conditioning section EIMD to conduct preventive maintenance to all type of refrigerating facilities and keep periodic maintenance record.

March 1984



Assigned in electrical shop - rewinding motors, installed, examined, replaced, repaired electrical wiring of switchgears, service high voltage transformers ranging from 110 volts to 34,500 volts.

September 1984



Assigned in dry area department, maintained roasters, coal pulvirizers, ball-mills and electro-static precipitators control systems.

Troubled-shoot and maintained electrical devices for drying and grinding control systems and its primary conveying branches.
