Military Sealift Command, Oakland California

Navigation Watch stander/Mate Duties included navigation of Persian Gulf onboard 22,000 Gross Tons 676ft Naval Support Oilier. Responsible for ship's logs, radio message conveyance and security. Also navigated vessel in underway replenishment maneuvers delivering fuel to Naval Combatant Ships. Training of crew, with military operations against a hostile armed force during Persian Gulf War.

Master- M/V Northlander, 1,519 Gross tons. Responsibilities included assignment of duties to Deck Dept. Utilizing shipboard computers for Port / Customs documentations, ship manifests and payroll for fifteen crewmembers. Ship was a freighter transporting ammunition from Northern Europe to West Africa.
