Attend meetings with vessel clients.

Owner/Operator/Captain and fleet manager based in Port Vila Vanuatu. Operated live on board charters though out all the Northern Vanuatu Islands, with trips lasting as long as 14 days.
Responsible for safe operation of a fleet of three charter boats, managed all crew (3 deckhands, two other captains), oversaw and performed the maintenance of the three boats. Handled all logistics and resources.
Personally achieved the status of a world class bill fish Captain. Wrote and published articles for New Zealand, and United States fishing magazines.
June 2004 – June 2005 Manu’ a tele Ferry Boat.
Captain of the Manu’a tele a 120 foot passenger, freight and fuel carrying vessel. Overnight trips from Pago Pago to the Manua Islands of American Samoa. Responsible for safe operation, logistics, loading, discharge of cargo, fuel and passengers in Pago Pago Harbor and the Ports of Ufo and Tau in the Manua Islands. Operated within USCG requirements, instructed crew of 6 in safety training/drills. This was also the oil response vessel for Pago Pago and the Manua Islands.
October 2003 – May 2004 IKA LAHI LODGE.
This was an internship, a volunteer position, the opportunity to learn from a master bill fisherman, and operation of a remote fishing lodge setting.

Learned about the day to day operation of a remote lodge, maintain sport fishing vessels, rigging lures and up keep of tackle. It was the experience and knowledge gained here that made me a world class charter operator.
December 1996 – August 2002 Rebecca Irene, Factory Trawler.
7 days a week, 16 hours a day, 2 -3 month long contracts.
Owner /Operator/Captain of 140 foot factory trawler ‘Rebecca Irene’ in the Gulf of Alaska and the Bering Sea. Responsible for; the safe operation of vessel, crew safety and training (crew of up to 40), the fishing operation, gear orders, management of all personnel departments on board including daily satellite communications with the Seattle office, production reports, and log book keeping.
Responsible for maximization of production and value of catch with a gross vessel income of an average 6 million US dollars per year.

Graduated 1980 Wahconah Regional High in Dalton Massachusetts. Attended the University of Maine for over two years (+60 credit hours) prior to leaving for a fishing career in Alaska
