• Second Deck Officer in charge of ship’s safety.
• First deck officer in charge of all ships’ documents and oil transfer.
Petrobras – Offshore Terminals Operation and Maintenance Department 1995-2002
Merchant Marine Consultant
• Coordinated shuttle tanker mooring operations at single point moorings and FSOs.
• Assigned to implement a new Offshore terminals Maintenance Plan.
• Responsable for keeping defect and fail records, storing them into a database for further analysis.
• Responsable for monitoring the Offshore Terminals Operation and Maintenance Department indexes.

• I was responsible for creating a whole Inspection Department, including all the procedures, and making sure that all the 140 OSV were operating according to our contracts.

• I was responsible for creating a Staff for the E&P-SERV/US-TA/TC Department, which is in charge of controlling all personnel training and development program, budget planning and treatment of personnel and material and environmental accidents, and technical studies on new solutions for the safe transport of food and general cargo.
