Objective


To use my 20 + years enperience in N.Y. harbor, Phila. harbor and Baltimore harbor in marine transportation, homeland security, refueling operations, consulting, or logistics.


Experience


1995 to present: American Petroleum& Transportation. Captain /PIC Tankerman on small harbor that refuels ships, tugs, yachts, off shore power plants, just about any thing that can be refueled on the water.

1995 to 2003 New York Fast Ferry: Captain on a high speed ferry between New York and Highlands, N. J.

EXXON Conpany USA 1989 to 2004 Worked as a terminal operator and as Vessel Inspector.

Texaco Marine Services INC. 1979 to 1989 : Worked as Barge Captain, Barge Mate, 2nd mate on ocean going tugs and barges transporting petroleum alomg the Atlantic and Gulf coasts.


Education


1974 to 1977 Bayonne High School, Bayonne New Jersey.

November 1977 to March 1978 : Maryland School of Seamanship, Piney Point, MD. Received maritime training and high school GED. Since then all training has been hands on.


Certification


Master 200 tons upon inland waters, Mate 1600 tons near coastal, mate of towing vessels near coastal,Radar observer unlimited, A/B unlimited any waters, tankerman PIC, Firefighting.


Skils


Can operate single and twin engine vessels, load and pump barges, be a consultant to maritime companies.


 


I have received 3 proclamations for bravery and heroism by rescuing over 3,000 survivors by ferry during the terrorists attacks on the World Trade Center on September 11th, 2001. I was also chosen to represent the company to receive the ATOS award which is the highest award given in the maritime industry. I have never missed a day of work in 7 years and get along well with people. I take pride in being dependable and punctual.
