National Response Corporation 2014- Present

Captain on an Oil recovery vessel located at Grand Isle, Louisiana. Responsible of all matters concerning the vessel, navigation, maintenance, clerical.



Servicio Marina Superior 2012 - 2013

Mate on Tug Atlas. Navigation of tug and barge with a satellite oil rig from Morgan City, to Balboa, Panama. Crossing the Panama Canal.

Second captain on Tug Marina Orion, deliver of barge from Duala, Camaroon, to Takoradi, Ghana. Tow of barge full of pipe from the pier to working site. Securing the barge alongside for loading and unloading of cargo. Deliver of barge with a load of pipe for underwater pipe line to offshore.



HARBOUR BUNKERING SERVICE 2007-2011

Maneuvering of tug and barge in San Juan Harbor delivering fuel alongside vessels. Also, navigation on tractor tug from San Juan to Statia Oil Terminal at Nederland Antilles and return to San Juan with a barge of 30,000 barrels on tow.

Part-time “as needed” navigator of towing vessel from San Juan, Puerto Rico to the virgin Island and the main land. Electronic and dead recording navigation. Also, harbor assistance service to vessel and barges. Some clerical work.



PUERTO RICO PORT AUTHORITY 1991 to 2007

Master of Passenger Ferry

Navigation of monohull and catamaran passenger carrying vessel in the San Juan harbor and tributaries. Responsible for the safety of up to 360 passengers and crew. Inspect and evaluated the condition of the vessels. Make writing reports of the findings.



CROWLEY TOWING and TRANSPORTATION 1985 to 1990

Chief Mate

Supervise maritime personnel and assured safety in the operations. Navigation of tugs and tow by dead recording and electronic navigation. Different products were carry from petroleum to containers. Supervises the maintenance of the hull and structure of the vessel, ship stores. Some clerical work in order to complied with the regulations and company policy.
