Experience
5/03 to 8/09 US Bureau of Reclamation, Hoover Dam Police Department. GL-0083-8 Police Corporal. Responsible for the EMS Program, and Property/Inventory Control Programs. I established the Bar Code Inventory system for the Department. I established the EMT training program for the Department. I designed the new uniform shoulder patch and hat badge for the Department. While acting as an EMT Officer I have saved several lives while responding to serious traffic accidents. I have rappelled down 100 foot cliff to rescue a truck driver. As a Shift Lead Officer, I run the shift in the absence of the Watch Commander. I supervise 3 to 4 junior officers on the Mid Watch. I enforce Federal Law and the state laws of Arizona and Nevada. Serves as a Special Reaction Team Member, Tactical Medic, Field Training Officer. Completed the Mixed Basic Police Training Program at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center, Glynco, Ga. Serves on Special Details such as Bike Patrol, and Special Response Team. Provides law enforcement, physical security for Fort Monroe Virginia. I have 11 years active duty U.S. Navy experience as a Boatswains Mate First Class Petty Officer. I have been deployed to the middle east three times. To the Med. once. All but one year has been assigned to ships. I have served on the USS Richmond K Turner CG-20, USS Macdonough DDG-39, USS Saipan LHA-2 and USS Spruance DD-963. I hold every specialty qualification the BM Rate has. I have extensive small arms experience. Military qualified in the M-14, M-60, M2HB, M-79, M870/M590 Shotgun, M1911 Handgun, Sig 226, M-4/M-16, MK-19, and familiar with the operation of the shoulder launched STINGER.
