VF TEAM, C.A. (Surveyors and Port Services). Company of its own, founded in Venezuela, in 1995, to give services in: maritime cargo and naval surveying for dry bulk cargoes, petroleum products (crude and refined oils), vegetable oils and fats and containers, warehousing logistic, security and safety of cargoes, land transporting logistic, quality and quantity of cargoes, insurance claim adjustment, loss control and legal affairs. This company is still open in Venezuela.

VALFRAN, srl. (Consulting Business ISO 9000). Company of its own, founded in 1993 for consulting in ISO 9000 and other fields of chemical and food industries. In 1994, it was entered to Maritime Industry contracted by Purina de Venezuela, C.A. (Subsidiary of Ralston-Purina, Missouri, U.S.A.) to supervise and verify cargo quality of feedstuff imported by the corporation, and planned the logistic of land transportation of cargoes and warehousing of all shipments of this company to the ports located in Venezuela.

PURINA DE VENEZUELA, C.A. (Subsidiary of Ralston – Purina, U.S.A.). 1991. As Quality Control Manager.

BAYER DE VENEZUELA, S.A. (Subsidiary of Bayer AG, Germany) 1985/1991. As Quality Control, R&D, and Environmental Manager.

MERCK, S.A. (Subsidiary of Merck AG, Germany) 1984/1985. As Diagnostica Marketing Department Assistant.

CIEPE (Agri-business Research Center, in Venezuela) 1981/1984. As Head of Biochemistry Laboratory and Researcher Assistant.

• Managing professional and non professional personnel.

• Vessel and/or Ship Inspections: Bulk Carriers, Tankers, Containers.

• Draft Surveys in Bulk Carriers.

• Knowledge in Vessel Insurance, Claims and Legal affairs.

• Knowledge in: Hire surveys, damage surveys, tie down inspections, marine custody transfer, petroleum measurement, loss control, claims and recovery (ship/shore). Warehouse surveys, storage assessment / suitability.

• Representing Cargo Owners, Charterers, Freight Forwarders and Underwriters for surveys relating cargo damage, claims management and loss control.

• Experience in physical – chemical laboratories and lab instrumentation.

• Bilingual, fluently in English and Spanish. (USA Permanent Resident)

• Basic knowledge in computer programs as Windows XP, Excel, Word, and Power Point. Internet.
