Summary of Experience
·Developed and presented multimedia training materials using Microsoft Power Point and video for company wide training program. The program was used to train 1200 employees monthly in compliance with United States Coast Guard Regulations.
·Developed marine department database using Microsoft Access for tracking weather, personnel, and vessel movement information. The database supported information used to prepare paperwork presented to the Indiana Gaming Commission, the United States Coast Guard, the National Weather Service, and for the ships’ log keeping purposes.
·Bachelor’s degree senior project: The project created a linked database and website for a dry-cleaning company using Microsoft Access, HTML, Macromedia Dreamweaver, and an ASP log-in feature for secure access for customers and employees. The system helped the company transition from being paper-based to electronic and aided in accounting, marketing, and efficiency.
