Assisted the captain and directly supervised all deck, engineering, galley and interior departments. Led operation of all boats and deck cranes. Ensured compliance with customs and immigration rules and regulations. Supervised the safe onboard operation and management of six vessels ranging from 56’ to 172’ and 29 crewmembers.

* Promoted to the rank of second officer in less than 7 years after coming onboard as a 3rd Mate.

* Spearheaded the completion of a $2M refit project while the ship was in the yard.

* Coached and developed numerous crew in all areas of seamanship.

* Prioritized multiple daily tasks, implemented cost savings ideas and the setting of goals while maintaining a high level of guest service and satisfaction.
