? Manage direct contact with Captain, Chief Engineer and Corporate persons in order to regulate environmental health and safety of the ship.
? Responsible for the collection, storage and transportation of hazardous waste and chemicals aboard ship as well as all other waste streams.
? Control the operation of discharges through operation of valves from ship to sea in allowable areas for products such as waste-water, food waste, and gray/shower water.
? Supervise 4-6 Environmental Operators work hours, work procedures and performance.
? Performed inspections of all areas on the ship to include the Engine Room as well as topside decks for compliance with Environmental and Regulatory Affairs for International Laws amongst Bahamas flag ships, and Hawaiian and US laws.
