• Scheduled governmental inspections and security exams as well as all third party deliveries and requirements to the vessel.

• Scheduled with USCG, CBP, USDA, terminals and stevedores for vessel arrival/departure formalities and cargo operations.

• Composed government documentation for entrance/clearance, AMS, manifest, bills of lading, ENOA, etc.

• Coordinate logistical arrangements for vessels calling multiple terminals in the same port call.

• Managed all vessel requirements on behalf of the owners/charterers for the voyage appointed, as well as ensuring the vessel is in compliance with U.S. and local laws.

• Organized the Houston office schedule of vessels with specifics of arrival, departure, principle, cargo, terminal and revenue information for the VP of the Gulf Coast and the corporate office.

• Approved disbursement accounts for invoicing and charges to principles.

• Trained new employees in above mentioned duties.

Consolidated Steamship Agency Port Operations in Houston – Manchester Terminal

• Prepared cargo manifests for vessels

• Prepared cargo bookings for customers

• Represented the Port Captain as his assistant

• Supervised stevedoring procedures aboard Universal Africa Lines vessels

• Drafted stowage plans for breakbulk, container and project cargoes aboard Universal Africa Lines vessels.
