General:
Naval Architect with Specialized in Shipbuilding and Ship repairing having extensive experience in Advanced Ship Design , Naval Architecture, Ship Stability, Ship Construction(building) , Ship Maintenance (repair) and Survey , Ship Safety, Management of Enterprise and Quality Management.
CAREER OBJECTIVES:
To secure a top management position within maritime organization like shipyard/dockyard, Classification societies, research organization , maritime educational establishment with considerable advancement opportunities . Ideally, in a ship yard /dockyard / classification Society, maritime university, college or academy with wide spread emphasis on ship design ,shipbuilding ,maritime research and education and training.
Experience
I have got 29 years (twenty Nine) years of experience in teaching and research including some top level administrative experience like in-charge of Chief Engineer (Head of the Marine Engineering Department) in the Marine Academy, a branch of World Maritime University. I started my career as a Lecturer in the Department of Mechanical Engineering in Khulna University of Engineering and Technology (KUET). Delivered lectures in Fluid Mechanics, Strength of Materials and Mech. Engineering drawing etc. I served in Chittagong Dry dock Ltd. as an Assistant Mechanical Engineer more than one year. I joined in Marine Academy as Naval Architect (Assistant Professor) in the department of Marine Engineering in 1982. Engaged myself in delivering lectures in various Marine/ Mechanical engineering discipline like Applied Mechanics, Applied Heat, Naval Architecture, Ship Construction and stability. I am also Question setter/ /Moderator/ Examiner of Bachelor of Maritime Science (BMS) Exams. under Bangladesh National University. I promoted to Senior Naval architect (Associate Professor ) and seeking better position ( Professor) in teaching / administration(manager Ship Yard/Dockyard/Classification society's Ship Surveyor,etc).
Education
In this regard I would like to mentioned here that I obtained my M.S degree in Shipbuilding Engineering ( Naval Arch and Mar. Engg./ Mechanical Engineering Eqvt.) from Odessa Marine Engineering Institute, USSR ( presently, Odessa State Maritime University, Ukraine ) in 1980. I have got some advanced level research experience leading to PhD and have some research publications in this arena. I obtained a Doctor of Science (D.Sc) degree in Naval Arch and Marine Eng (Mechanical Engineering of Ships) from Belford University, USA in 2005. In the mean time ,I have successfully completed MBA program from Bangladesh Open University in 2003 and M.Ed in 2006. I have also successfully completed PGDM and Diploma in computer Science and Application (DCSA) from Bangladesh Open University BOU.

As a graduate naval architect has right to prepare ship design , drawings and approve it.

Attended in many seminers/symposium/workshops in maritime fields. Was member for amended specification preparing committee for a newbuilding of 750 TEUs capacity container ship for Bangladesh Shipping Corporation.
Author a good number of technical papers for safe voyage of oceangoing multipurpose dry cargo vessel to carry general goods and containers in severe weather.
