Experience
I was employe by the Fiji Government as maritime administrator with the fiji maritime safety administration. I was in the position of Mechant marine superintendant in control of the ship registration and control inspection that normally done by the flag and port state surveyors.
Education
Msc in Maritime Affaires (Policy and Law) from the world maritime university in malmo sweden.
BA in marine Affaires and Geography from the University of the south pacific , suva , fiji.

•Control manning of ships crew (STCW 95 requirement).
•Control and monitor all inspections done by Flag and Port State surveyors.
•Member of the ISPS audit team.
•Advise technical staff on updates and amendment from IMO Resolution and circulars. (SOLAS, STCW, MARPOL, etc).
•Liaise with classification society on technical matters.
•Ensure proper registration of all vessel
•Ensure registration of seafarers
•Changing of ship, crew and signing on/off of seafarers, in the ARTICALES OF AGREEMENT.
•Ensure registration of Mortgages and Discharges
•Ensure proper application by sea-farer for examination
•Ensure proper application for surveys by vessels owners/operators.
•Reminder to ship-owners / operators that their survey will be due shortly and attempts must be made by them to have the vessel surveyed on time.
