JOB DESCRIPTION: Work on different types of ship which includes the following, 2ng engineer on Dredgers for Ceemex, Ro-Ro, Ro- Pax, Passenger Ferries for Stena line, DP2 Anchor handling ships for Trico marine and DP3 drill ship for Dolphin drilling .Also I have worked as a 2nd engineer on semi-submersible accommodation barge for pro-safe, in the offshore Norway. I have worked as chief engineer a few times on mainly standby vessels and small supply ships in the Dutch sectors of the North Sea for Vroon offshore.
Currently working on part time basis for P & O ferries, Stena line and various offshore companies, Work on a dp3 pipe lay barge and accommodation barge as 2nd engineer, took delivery of barge from shipyard in Singapore and was involved in commissioning of machineries and sea trials. I have extensive work experience on DP3 systems, including the fifth generation DP3 ships, conversant with the Kongsberg and Simrad vehicle control systems. Worked on different DP system like the Aqua Master Rauma, the Thrustmasters and Rolls Royce azimuths thrusters.

I have over twenty years experience working on board ships, I have worked on different types of ships and currently working in the offshore oil and gas sector as a second engineer on drillships, I have experience working on different types of DP ships, i.e. DP1, DP2 and DP3, using the aquamaster rauma azimuth thrusther system,the thrustmaster azimuth system and rolls royce azimuthing systems the Kongsberg DP system and familiar with the SVC (simrad vessel system), as can be seen in my CV enclosed. My background in marine engineering makes me flexible to adapt to change and able to learn new things within shortest possible time. I thrive in learning new things, I have appetite and strength in learning. I am an internaliser I believe I can improve my situation in life through hard work and persistence.
