Objective


Establishing a 19 year career in the Marine Industry has allowed me to work as a Technician, a Supervisor and an Instructor. Among those specialties I have expertise in associated products, such as, (electronics, audio, fishing systems, water sports accessories, and structural fiberglass repair). I have established a unique ability to analyze, troubleshoot and produce efficient results while maintaining the highest standards. Being a certified technician with Volvo, Mercury and Yamaha, I have achieved the highest certifications through strong commitment to excellence, accomplishment and attainment of desired goals.


Experience


Automotive Training Instructor January 2008 – Present



While working at Automotive Training Center (ATC) I researched, created, and maintained Automotive training materials for several automotive classes. I developed presentation training materials using Microsoft PowerPoint. I have leveraged learning knowledge and awareness of competitive offerings to develop, introduce and justify learning recommendations to ATC for future class offerings.

I continuously performed quality review of student classroom exercises to ensure compliance with requirements on a technical level. I have performed problem determination and application support as required during classroom training. I continuously encouraged and coordinated students to create and work with multiple teams to increase troubleshooting skills, documentation accuracy and completion of classroom requirements.



D&S Boat Sales, Inc. 1992 – 2008

Service Management Supervisor

Performed any and all service work and diagnostics, including custom installations, re-power of vessels and speacialized electronics.

Engine and vessel manufacture CSI ratings maintained to ensure that 100% of clientel needs were addressed.

Supervised warranty adminstration and service work completed in a timely manner and submitted to manufacture for reimbursment.

Developed and conducted company sponsored training seminars for winterization and preventative maintenance for both students and customers. I developed a program and trained employees, to ensure that productivity and collectable efficientcy goals were met. This program is still utilized by the company.
