Marine Technician

Objective


Continue with the ongoing development of a career as a Mechanical Engineer, and join an established organisation requiring an experienced, disciplined and dedicated operator seeking a career path based on performance.



Having contributed a substantial working career as a Mechanical Fitter, career objective is to progress to positions as Maintenance Planner/Coordinator, Field Engineer or equivalent, and have technical responsibilities for the overall administration of service and planning of maintenance schedules, coordination and management of projects, including staff supervision, training and leadership to ensure reduced machine down time, completion of contracts within a safe working environment, and within Company budget recommendations.



Concurrent to daily practical functions, both self and employer sponsored courses and training will be maintained for ongoing theoretical qualifications toward advancement opportunities of higher responsibility.

10 Yrs Royal Australian Navy Marine Technician. Engineroom Watchkeeping Certificate (CODOG). Gas Turbine/Propulsion Diesel maintainence. Responsible to Officer of the Watch (OOW)
