Work Scope As Technical Superintendent/Manager



- Responsible for Start-up, Mobilization and De-mobilization of equipment and crew of Projects.

- Scheduling, maintenance and logistics of crew and equipment, main project vessel, support, PVS and AHTS vessels, involved in the Project operations.

- Procurement of materials for Project and maintenance of equipment.

- Management of the Project Technical operations.

- Preparation of work schedules for equipment and crew.

Preparation of maintenance schedules, including repairs and dry-dockings.

- Review of budget, costs and negotiation for maintenance and dry-dock

- Preparations of dry-docking specifications, and negotiation of costs with shipyards for work required.

- Supervision of dry-docking works, including ship repairs, mechanical works, paint works and electrical works

- Implementation, review and design modification of vessels and equipment to meet the requirement of new projects.

- Re-modification of ship designs and up-grading of vessels.

- Refurbishment of vessels for new projects.



In addition to this, I had to act as liaise with the Project Manager and our Head Office, on the status of our equipment, work schedule and overheads.

I am a freelance personnel, specialize in Dredging, Marine Technical and Logistics support. I am interested in challenging job prospects throughout the world in which I can apply my expertise and further develop my skills.

During my tenure with the previous employer, I have served as, Technical Superintendent and Technical Manager, for project dredging and support vessels on various dredging, shore protection, shore approach for gas and oil pipelines projects in and around Asia, Australia, Europe and Africa.

In this capacity, I have been responsible for repair, maintenance, dry-docking, design modification and rebuilding, support and logistics of dredging and support vessels. I have also been able to form good working relationships with local authorities, contractors and clients.

My last assignment was with, Nordic Maritime Pte. Ltd., as Site Manager to oversee the construction of their 300 men, accommodation barges and support vessels in Banting, Selangor, Malaysia.
