Experience


I have worked in the petrochemical inspection industry since 1989, and have worked all over the southeastern United States of America. I was a field inspector, as well as a Resident Sattelite Office Inspector.•



Extensive experience and knowledge of all aspects of petroleum/chemical cargo reconciliation (loss control).

Work Experience



2002-present Regal Mortgage, Inc., Orange Beach, Alabama—Loan Originator

Initiate calls and/or follow up to company-provided leads from various sources to secure real estate mortgage financing. Assist clients with needed documentation and see the loan process through to completion by assisting in title search and appraisal process. As a notary public in the State of Alabama I also perform loan closings.



2003-Present Kirby Marine, Mobile, Alabama—Operations Supervisor

(Note: Part-Time Position held concurrently with other employment). Responsible for overseeing and coordinating transfer of cargo from ships and/or barges to other barges or land storage units. Facilitate communication between ship’s chief mate and land/dock personnel in order to insure precision of offloads of product.

1998-2002 Colonial Life & Accident, Birmingham, Alabama—Account Executive/Employee Benefits

Functioned as an opener/coordinator and assisted in the enrollment of group supplemental insurance for employees of various types/sizes of businesses. Met with Human Resource directors and individual employees as part of the enrollment communication and sales process, utilizing MS Power Point as part of visual presentation.



1994-1998 Saybolt, Inc., Mobile/Birmingham, Alabama—Resident Petroleum/Chemical Inspector

Loss control position involving extensive mathematical computations and precise decision-making skills. Responsible for on-site accounting of product transactions

between oil companies from storage facilities to the point of transfer onto vessels

involving millions of dollars during these inventory exchanges. Utilized computer for accounting functions as well as preparing and processing reports. Responsible for servicing of existing clients in Northern/Central Alabama and Northern Georgia and for marketing the company to obtain new clients.



1989-1993 SGS Control Services, Memphis, Tennessee—Petroleum/Chemical Inspector

Duties parallel to those at Saybolt. Worked out of the branch office in Memphis, Tennessee and covered the Mid-South territories of Tennessee, Alabama, and Mississippi.

I graduated with a Business Degree in Finance, a Bachelor's degree.
