Re: John Whalen

Due to a work slowdown, C & C Technologies was required to implement a reduction in its workforce. Many good people were laid off including Mr. John Whalen. Often, employees who are marginal performers are the first to go. However, this was not the case with John who was in our Marine Construction Division. Although John was not with the company for very long, we kept him on the payroll and let others go to the degree possible. Finally, due to financial constraints, we were forced to let John go as well.

Having gotten to know John and his family, I can say that he is intelligent, stable, mature, and a hard worker. John also has initiative, a rare but incredibly valuable trait. It is truly a major disappointment to lose such an excellent employee with such a wide skill set. I highly recommend John for any type of technical work. He has a great work ethic and has always been willing to do what it takes to get the job done.

Feel free to call me with any questions you may have. 337-261-0660
