• Responsible for the budget for the areas below.
• Responsible for the nautical equipment and the communication.

• Mainly working with vessels performance.
• Responsible for the contact to and visiting the company having there vessels in the performance program
• Working with performance on groups of vessel in a pool of vessels.
• Involved in the star up of developing the new weather routing onboard program Sea Planner
• Involved in changing to paperless office.
• Giving nautical advice to the weather people involve in advising vessels regarding the weather on the voyage.
Deck Officer for Lauritzen Kosan (Gas vessels) 1996 – 2001
Working with navigation in general, responsible for loading, discharging, changing of cargo, gas freeing, docking and responsible for the keeping the vessel up to standard.
Deck Officer for Western Geophysical 1995 – 1996
Responsible for safety equipment and navigation of the vessel. In daily navigation was the work mainly keeping the line wee were shooting, keeping the cable safe and making sure other vessel kept a distance to the cables.
Deck Officer for Mercandia Rederierne 1991 – 1992
As second officer the main areas were taking care of the safety equipment, keeping all nautical books up to date, navigating the vessel and loading/discharging the vessel according to C/O plan.

My whole life I have an interest and been working with shipping, both as an active seaman on deck and as an officer and on shore as Operation Manger with Marine service for DMI and as Nautical Manager for Lauritzen Fleet Management.
For the last 3 years I have been responsible for all nautical and communication equipment on the Lauritzen vessels.
I started my active carrier at sea on the bigger Faroese fishing vessel, after completing my master exam I started sailing as a deck officer, first on Mercandia RO-RO vessels, Western Geophysical seismic vessels and ending my active sailing time on Lauritzen Kosan gas vessels.
I am reliable, a good college and with a good humour, looking for results and love to work in a changing environment.
