Objective
My basic interest is to work with a shore based profile so as to actively participate in shore tanker management (TMSA and ISM compliance), Vessel operations and commercial aspects of shipping.
Experience
Experience with major vetting organization on board Such as CDI, BP, Exxon Mobil, Shell, Chevron Texaco, Total, BHP, and Repsol.
Well Versed with tank cleaning operations specially converting from Black/CPP to sensitive Chemicals and vice versa.
Familiar with FRAMO pumps as well as Cargo oil pumps (COP) steam driven.
Have carried out STS operations.
Attended Dry dock for carrying out Special Surveys (7.5 years, 5 years and 2.5 years).
Have experience of working in the yard prior the take over of two chemical tankers M/T OCEANIC CRIMSON AND M/T EMOCEAN as an owner’s representative under the site manager for overlooking of safety standards and final operational inspection of the following - Cargo handling system/ Cargo monitoring system/ Tank coatings/ Navigational equipments.
Education
Master F.G Unlimited and all requisite STCW courses.

I have been working on board mainly chemical and oil tankers in the capacity of Master, Ch off, 2nd officer, 3rd officer. I have in depth knowledge of ISM code and ISPS compliance on board; I have been through numerous oil major SIRE vetting, CDI inspections, USCG inspections and Port state control inspections. I possess very thorough understanding of ISGOTT, IBC Code and industry accepted tank cleaning procedures.
