Responsible for the safe offloading, handling, storage, quality assurance testing and distribution of petroleum products from deep-sea oil tanker vessels to shore side high volume storage and shipping tanks. Responsible for supervising operators in all facets of 26 acre marine petroleum products terminal operation. Duties include scheduling marine vessel deliveries and pipeline product shipments, inventory control, interpreting and analyzing product quality reports, perform job safety analyses, supervising and ensuring safety of contract workers, as well as overall security of terminal property and assets to meet United States Coast Guard standards for prevailing MARSEC level.

Mate in charge of 400' tug/barge unit transporting petroleum products throughout Great Lakes. Responsible for overall safety and navigation while underway and loading/unloading liquid products to/from shore side facilities when alongside. Also responsible for supervising subordinate crew in daily tasks.
