Current position Compliance Manager, major offshore oil and gas drilling contractor. Responsible for interfacing with flag and coastal state agencies, classification societies, the International Maritime Organization, multiple international standards organizations and industry organizations in facilitating resolution of compliance and regulatory issues on behalf of company. Ensure rig compliance with all regulatory and class requirements. Advise divisions of all changes in regulations, class rules and industry standards affecting corporate training policies and practices. Draft and edit engineering and security manuals as required by senior departmental personnel.


 


U.S. Coast Guard marine safety, security, vessel operations, navigation, instructor, recruiter and quality management facilitator assigned to multiple world wide locations and command, supervisory and watch-standing positions.

Provided leadership, coordination and facilitation of pollution response and environmental protection activities among federal, state, local and responsible party stakeholders. Oversaw direction and coordination efforts of marine safety offices regarding training, planning and emergency response to hazardous materials. Oversaw Port Security program, MTSA / ISPS compliance for 3 states and territories
