2005 to PRESENT/20FEB2009 - HEAVY WHEELED VEHICLE OPERATOR - UNITED STATES ARMY – stationed at Fort Hood, TX

Truck commander, in charge of 5, for the operation, maintenance and repair of heavy haul military vehicles; supervised a team of 10 soldiers to upgrade 239 vehicles, with over 40 million dollars worth of equipment, 10 days ahead of a 30 day schedule.



2001 to 2005 - CHIEF ENGINEER FACILITIES OPERATIONS - UNITED STATES NAVY RESERVE

Chief engineer of a mobile control/communications unit. Supervised 5 in the operations, maintenance and repairing for various sizes of diesel electric generating plants and HVACs including parts control and ordering, and job estimates Supported all aspects of construction and maintenance activities to ensure continuous operations of equipment and utility systems. Constructed and supported command buildings and support structures.



2001 to 2005 - QUALITY INSURANCE INSPECTOR - SOUTHWEST MARINE SHIP REPAIR FACILITY – San Diego, CA

Inspect and ensure the quality of repairs to shipboard mechanical, electrical and preservation systems on multi-million dollar ships; trained junior inspectors in coating inspections.



1993 to 2001 - JOURNEYMAN WATER EQUIPMENT MECHANIC - PUBLIC SERVICE COMPANY OF NEW MEXICO/CITY OF SANTA FE (SANGRE DE CRISTO WATER COMPANY) – Santa Fe, NM

Operate, maintain and repair water treatment, transfer and storage system piping, valves, electrical and control systems. Initiated cost savings of $1,000,000 on new construction of 5,000,000-gallon water tank. Experience installing, operating and maintaining various water quality, analyzing, and testing equipment. Worked with and on Both High and Low Voltage electricity as well as control currents and equipment such as PLCs, SCADA systems, and other switching and relay systems. Experience with electrical trouble shooting and equipment such as multimeters ohmmeters amp meters etc.



1993 to 1997 - CHIEF ENGINEER FACILITIES OPERATIONS - UNITED STATES NAVY RESERVE



1984 to 1993 - MARINE PROPULSION ENGINEER - UNITED STATES NAVY – stationed at San Diego, CA

Supervised the operation, maintenance and repair of shipboard water and chemical pumps, piping, valves and electrical generating and propulsion systems. Operated and maintained 1200psi and 600psi steam generation and turbine systems. Operated repaired and maintained Auxiliary Equipment such has chilled water, steam heat, and HVAC systems. Preformed preventive maintenance on all machinery and recorded information to monitor life span of equipment.
