Accomplishments:

• Reorganized my department and developed a new approach to project management and planning that was ultimately adopted by the rest of the company.
• Developed job sharing, cross-training and employee incentive programs that resulted in the highest retention rates in the company.
• Initiated cooperative agreements with other Oceanographic Institutions to share resources and staff and cut costs.
• Effectively negotiated with subcontractor to recover damages in excess of 500K for inadequate performance to the contract.
