Responsible for complete operations, personnel safety, and cargo handling. Cargo handling responsibilities included ship stowage, handling, and organizing for best possible efficiency for safe carriage of goods. Directly involved with the sea-land interface with terminal operations. Ship experience included Liquid Natural Gas Tankers, Petroleum & Chemical Tankers, Break Bulk (including refrigerated & frozen cargo), and Container ships (including refrigerated & frozen containers). Current License: Master of Steam or Motor Vessels of not more than 1600 Gross Registered Tons (domestic tonnage), 3000 Gross Tons (ITC Tonnage) upon Oceans; Second Mate of Steam or Motor Vessels of any Gross Tons upon Oceans.

Vice President/Director.

Field testing/sampling for environmental & marine operations. Responsible for management planning, strategic marketing, surveys, quality control, scheduling, cost control, safety, and lab protocol development. Promoted operational excellence. Laboratory services for verifying environmental and marine specification compliance.



PAI Corporation Pinellas Park, FL; Oak Ridge, TN 1992-1995

General Manager.

Technical and administrative management of support services to the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE). Complete responsibility for Florida offices, developing and implementing management strategies, marketing, contract negotiations, proposal writing, cost control, quality control, budgeting, and technical participation on contract tasks. Hired and managed a professional team which provided the highest quality services with low overhead. Used knowledge of advanced management theories, principals, and practices to develop a complete management plan for a newly created ($60 Million/year) DOE program. Member DOE Tiger Team (detailed inspection/audit). Technical tasks included developing: Environmental Safety & Health compliance programs, Logistics Management, Mishap Communication plans, Machine Tool Safety plans, and a hazard communication program.

Western Hemisphere Sales Manager.

Manager of products and services to Aerospace and Marine customers for a $1.9 Billion/year company. Responsible for division management, developing and implementing management strategies, oversight of proposal writing, media liaison, brochure development, websites, tradeshows, strategic marketing plans, and working with customers and internal R&D to solve customer problems with innovative solutions. Developed new markets into multi-million dollar/year repeatable business activities. Oversight of manufacturing and customer service to resolve customer satisfaction issues. Developed a strategic account with US Government for logistics support.
