Objectives

To obtain a position in the marine industry, preferably as a captain, with my years of owning and operating a restaurant would allow me to provide a total marine life experience.

Marine Experience

I was most recently working in the marine industry as deck hand on a 72’ tug called the Fort Point based out of Portsmouth, NH as well as a part of the dredge and construction teams. Prior to that I owned and operated Spartan Charters, LLC consisting of daily fishing expeditions.  I am licensed to captain a boat up to 100 Tons with towing; STCW; Able Seaman & Assistant instructor for SCUBA.

Restaurant Owner

I have been an owner and have extensive experience in management of independent and franchised restaurants and a bar.  My strengths include the ability to coordinate multiple operations at once while maintaining a safe and clean environment for my staff and providing superior customer service.  I am able to analyze profit and loss statements; marketing plans; conduct menu analysis; implement provisions management and have streamlined operational procedures to ensure smooth management of operations.  Responsible for hiring and provided training to staff to ensure customer satisfaction while maximizing profits; responsible for the purchase and installation of capital equipment.  I have been responsible for the purchasing of all items, including food and maintenance supplies, necessary to run a multi-unit operation.
