Objective
I am basically a Marine Geologist, obtained Ph. D. degree in Marine Geology in the year 2003. Presently I am working as a senior Geophysicist for EGS Survey Pvt Ltd, India. I have proficient knowledge and intense experience in submarine cable and pipeline route surveys, offshore site surveys, pipeline inspections and Unexploded Ordnance search operations in marine environment. I can handle the digital or analogue sonar and shallow seismic systems efficiently. Also, I have profound experience in handling software like CODA Geosurvey, Discover, C-View and AutoCAD.

Projects Involved:
a. Survey Positioning Services for the seismic survey off Visakapatnam, East Coast of India (January 2010).
Client: DMIGE Ltd., Vietnam.
Survey Area: NEC-OSN Block off Visakapatnam, East Coast of India.
My Role: Preparing the survey track charts, performing QC and reporting.
b. Geophysical Survey for Europe-India Gateway Cable Route System, Segment 4.9 (October 2009 to November, 2009)
Client: TYCO.
Survey Area: Off Mumbai, India.
Project Equipments handled by me: Geoacoustics Deep Tow 2000 combined side scan sonar and Chirp sub bottom profiler.

My Role: I was involved in acquisition and processing of geophysical data, core sample descriptions and reporting.
c. Unexploded Ordnance Survey (March 2009 to October 2009)

d. Pre-engineering Route Survey for India-Middle East-Western Europe and Europe-India Gateway Submarine Fiber Optic Link Project (September 2008 to January 2009)
Client: Alcatel-Lucent Submarine Network and Tyco.
Survey Area: Off Mumbai, Arabian Sea.
Software used by me: C-View, AutoCAD.
My Role: Coordinating the onboard Geo Team, data quality control, offline processing of sonar and seismic data, preparation of the survey reports.
e. Vessel Based Offshore Pipeline Inspection Studies (May 2008 to July 2008)
Client: British Petroleum.
Survey Area: Off Java, Indonesia.
Software used by me: Discover, C-View, AutoCAD.
My Role: I was involved in processing and interpreting the sonar and multibeam echo sounder data to inspect the offshore pipelines and preparing the Pipeline Inspection Reports. Pipeline inspection process was involved in identifying the hazards to the pipelines such as free spans, leakages, pipeline bends, etc. The process was also involved in identifying the riser positions and generating the pipeline Route Position List based on the interpretation of multibeam bathy images.
f. Seabed Engineering Survey for an Approach Channel in Salaya, Gulf of Kachchh (April 2008)
Client: ESSAR Oil Ltd.
Survey Area: Gulf of Kachchh, Arabian Sea.
Project Equipments handled by me: Klein 2000 Side Scan Sonar, Seabed 3010M Sub-bottom profiler, Squid 2000 Sparker, Sea Spy Magnetometer.

My Role: I was involved in sonar and seismic data acquisition, survey data quality control including navigation data, processing and interpretation of the data, preparing the survey reports and interaction with the client.
g. Pre lay route survey of Taweelah-Ghurab-Shahama, Mina Zayed-SAN, Doha-Halul Fiber Optic Link Projects (January 2008 to February 2008)
