Experience
At school level I was in many leadership positions e.g. School cadet instructor, Christian leader; chairman of the cultural group for three years consecutive; Prefect and reduction member. At sport level I plaid hockey for the first team and for the Sanlam team.
As apprentice in the SA Navy I received a certificate as most outstanding apprentice.
I Qualified as MFM Mac ships (diesel fitter) Later I passed a trade test as Marine Fitter.
On the SAS Drakensberg I were put in charge of all auxiliary machinery .
At Sea harvest I were in charge of the annual refit planning and executing or refits on fishing vessels.
I started working on Construction and worked as Senior alignment fitter at Mittal steel and were selected to work with VAI Engineers on the commissioning team.
Later after completion of Mittal steel project I was moved to Duferco steel project were I worked as senior alignment fitter and later part of commissioning team.
I started ‘n business on site repairing all manufacturing and commissioning problems and were prefer vendor at Duferco steel.
I were contracted to do all alignment jobs on site.
I started new business for disabled person in wheel chair, I were responsible for the day to day planning and ordering of material and supervising all work and quoting on new jobs.
Owner passed away and I were immediately Diploid by Saldanha engineering to start a Boiler making section at the premises. I worked as workshop manager and was responsible for quotations and leasing with clients. I supervised all jobs in workshop and on site.
I started to work for MUS as Mechanical supervisor in Mauritania and were promoted to Site manager in three months.
