Responsibilities aboard this Research Vessel included watch standing underway with 2ND Engineer. Maintenance, up keep and assisting Engineer. Lubricate moving parts of engine, machinery, and auxiliary equipment. Monitor main and auxiliary engine and equipment indicators, record variable, readings in log books and report abnormalities to ship engineer. Assisted in repair, paint and handle inventory and small electrical maintenance.



ENGINEER SVMO: Small Vessel machinery operator Sep2008—Dec2008

MARIPOSA CRUISES---Toronto, ON

Responsibilities aboard these dinner cruise boats included: Start-up/shut-down engines. Maintain watch as the only engineer responsible for smooth running of main engines & generator, all the machinery & systems during the trip. Assisting on the Deck & passengers on board.
