Disaster Weather Management
Updated and improved the response and accountability of Naval personnel following Hurricane Katrina. Developed a database of Naval personnel and commands in the Hawaii Operating Region. This included updating tracking and location methods to include formal Naval message traffic, emergency contact information, and disaster management personnel at every level of the Naval chain of command in the event a major disaster struck the Hawaiian Islands.

Director Human Systems Integration
Led the development of the HSI approach for all new warfare programs under the cognizance of PEO ships, to include the development of the Navy’s newest combat ships. Instrumental in the selection of the final system design, construction and optimized manning levels of the Flight 0 LCS.
1999 - 2002
USS Cowpens/USS Mobile Bay, San Diego, CA
Anti-Submarine Warfare Officer
Led a Junior Division through the overhaul and installation of the 53D Sonar System on COWPENS and MOBILE BAY. Supervised the removal and replacement of MOBILE BAY’S sonar dome and 300 transducer elements. Executed the ship’s force protection program including all exercises, drills, small arms qualifications, and watch-bills for changing threat conditions after the September 2001 terrorist events.
