Oil Spill Response Vessel (OSRV). Continually perform maintenance and upkeep

Duties: Chief Engineer-Harbor Tug. Maintain and operate ship assist tug as USCG licensed Engineer. Responsible for safe day to day operations and maintenance while assisting large oil tankers and ships.

Duties: Chief Engineer-Tug. Maintain and operate harbor assist tug. Provide support to on-going dredge, salvage and diving projects throughout New York and Newark harbors which include transportation of large barges, refueling and provide liquids to dredges as well as assist jobs for ships, barges, etc.

Duties: Director of Maintenance; provide management and marine engineering support for
maintenance, repair and upgrade of offshore support vessels. Responsible for planning, organizing, directing vessel repairs, installations and internal audits, interviewing and hiring of vessel engineers. Prepare procurement specifications for repairs, new equipment, and approved conversion work; monitor the accomplishment of all contracted repairs and conversions. Provide advice in resolving issues concerning shipboard equipment and machinery. Assigned as owner’s representative during yard periods, including ABS and USCG audits/inspections.

Duties: Ferry Vessel Oiler; ensure safe operation of ferry vessel transporting
passengers from Galveston to Bolivar and back. Line-up, start, shutdown and
monitor all vessel machinery. Responsible for refueling, pumping of sewage
system and potable water systems on daily basis.

Duties: Refinery/Vessel Cargo Inspector; responsibilities include gauging,
calculating and sampling of vessel cargoes, and shore tanks before and after any transfer.
Assigned to inspect offshore lighterings in the Gulf of Mexico and various local
refineries.

Duties: Service Mechanic for slow speed marine diesel engines.
Responsible to overhaul on regular basis for contracted companies all slow speed
main engines and medium speed generator engines. Such engines include:
Sulzer, Bermeister &Wayne (B&W),Daihatsu, Colt Pielstick, Fairbanks-Morse
(opposed piston), Mitsubishi, and some ABB turbos.

Duties: Oiler; oil tankers. Work scope included painting and
Cleaning of engineering spaces, including helping engineers with
overhauls and regular maintenance. Intense training on boilers,
steam powered pumps, water-making systems, lube/fuel purification
systems, cargo operations and line handling.”

Experienced with Caterpillar, EMD, Detroit, B&W, Sulzer,
Daihatsu, marine engines, Voith propulsion units, Hydraulic
cranes, deck winch systems, hydraulics, all types of pumps, centrifuges,
watermaker systems (reverse osmosis and steam), cargo pump
systems, rotating equipment, air compressors, oil and water separators, and steam systems.
Also experienced with product transfers, sampling and calculating (and correcting) cargo from
marine vessels and shore facilities.
