Objective


To obtain a position that fully utilizes the skills and knowledge of a systems engineering degree, exploit my interest in engines and machinery while dealing with people and developing interpersonal skills.

MV Endeavor (December 2003 – February 2004): Type: Slow Speed Diesel/Container; Position: Engine Cadet; Days: 84; Mission: Mediterranean Trade, Government Cargo; Ports: Italy, Egypt, Israel, Turkey; Owner: E-Ships.

USNS Paul Buck (November 2004 – March 2005): Type: Slow Speed Diesel/Tanker; Position: Engine Cadet; Days: 120; Mission: Deep Freeze (annual supply of Mc Murdo Station, Antarctica); Ports: Japan, South Korea, Guam, Australia, Antarctica, Hawaii, San Francisco; Operator: Ocean Ships Incorporated owned by MSC.

MV Cape Kennedy (March 2005 – June 2005): Type: Medium Speed Diesel/Ro-Ro; Position: Engine Cadet; Days: 74; Mission: Supply reconstruction material to Iraqi; Ports: Texas, Greece, Spain, Egypt, Oman, Qatar, Kuwait, UAE; Operator: Keystone Shipping; Owner: United States Military Sealift Command.

Resolute Racing Shells (June – July 2005): Internship, Duration: 2 weeks; Position: Intern/Surface Consultant. Bristol RI.
